June 9th – June 18th

June 17th
First time camping beneath a highway underpass. Was a little concerned about it being a homeless man's prime spot and getting confronted in the night, but luckily that never happened. 9/10.

Part of an armadillo shell! I had heard they were migrating further north from locals, but this is my first time seeing definitive proof of that!

June 12th
A woman named Linda graciously offered to host me for the night in Dahlgren, IL. She makes the best stir fry. 🙂

June 12th

June 11th
Outside Dale, IL, a young woman ran up to give me these! Her mom & her were interested in the idea of walking across America one day too. :')

June 10th
The owner at a local restaurant in Norris City gave me my breakfast and drink for free! They were so, unbelievably sweet
